Launching of the Book The Story of Broken Knife Lookout in french and english. It was written by Floyd Favel, theatre theorist, director, essayist, based in Saskatchewan and illustrated by Alix Van Der Donckt-Ferrand, a visual artist, Art Production director for Miyawata Culture, curator and organizer of the Centre du Rat in Montreal, and a Wendat descendant. This book tells of the great Tsuut’ina warrior Broken Knife who travelled to what is now the Poundmaker reserve in Saskatchewan in search of horses. Instead, he and his men found great warriors, death and ever-lasting life through stories.
